17 week ultrasound

We went to the dr. today and it was such a blessing. The ultrasound tech, Lee, measured the brain, heart, liver, bladder, femur, and more saying that it all looked great. Praise God and an answer to our prayers. We could see the brain lobes, ribs, heart beating, hands, arm bones, legs, eyes, and feet while Baby Long was moving all over the screen. She said Baby Long weighs 8 ounces right now and is measuring 1 week ahead of schedule. She did say that the placenta is on the interior wall of the uterus, so Dr. Ross thinks I should be able to feel the baby moving within the next few weeks. This will be very fun. My next appointment is in 4 weeks, Sept. 18.

Yay! so glad it went well. i know that was a fun appointment, and you'll love when you can start to feel him or her moving!

congratulations! i had no idea that you were expecting. i am so happy for you..you'll love being a mommy and daddy.
we didn't find out the gender of our little Vale until she was born and it was the best thing ever!!!
