Today, Emmie and I went with my Paternal Grandmother Dot to pick out some pretty flowers. When we got Emily in the stroller, this is the nickname that Grandmother Dot had for her today
"Little Fat Monkey". I thought it was so cute. My grandmother has always loved flowers and since she is at St. Martins and she doesn't have a yard, she still loves to plant flowers on her porch. We had a nice "outing" and got some really pretty begonias and other annual flowers.
We also went to the lake this past weekend. A VERY relaxing time that included a soft breeze, temperatures in the low 80s, yummy food, knitting, reading, yard clean up, exercising, naps, and wine under the umbrella at sundown. Emmie also started sleeping from 10p-7a for the past 5 nights! YEAH for now! I am sure this can change at any moment, but we are LOVIN it for now.
